John Wall to Kentucky
Last night, SLAM reported that John Wall had committed to the University of Kentucky. Wall responded by saying that it wasn’t true. However this morning it has been confirmed that Wall has in fact committed to play for the Wildcats and coach John Calipari. Wall chose the Wildcats over Miami. Some had thought Miami may end up getting Wall but in the end UK got the superstar point guard. I have to admit, Cal has a hell of a recruiting class coming in with DeMarcus Cousins, Eric Bledsoe, Daniel Ortson, John Hood, Darnell Dodson and now Wall. Not only that, but star forward Patrick Patterson is returning for his junior year. On paper Kentucky looks like the team to beat this year and with good reason. They will probably be the most talented team in all of college basketball this season.
